Northampton Section Website

Northampton is the section name of the Vintage and Classic Motor Cycle Club (VMCC) for Northampton and the surrounding towns as well as the city of Milton Keynes . We welcome everyone interested in classic and vintage motorcycles 25 years old or order. If you do ride a more modern machine as it’s easier to manage then you will be welcomed too.

The VMCC has a worldwide membership of over 10,000 with a huge variety of bikes, and even in our local section we have members with bikes from the earliest motor bicycles through to classics from the 70s and 80s

We meet every month of the year on the first Thursday of each month at the St Crispins Club, Berrywood Road, Duston, Northampton, NN5 4XD except for January when it’s the second Thursday. There is usually a presentation on various interesting topics although the December meeting sees the award of prizes and the Christmas Quiz and buffet. There are also organised runs from February through to November with a least one run each month covering Northamptonshire, which is the Rose of the Shires, and surrounding counties. The section’s premier event is the Northampton Navigation Rally held on the first Sunday in September. You are sent on your way with a hot drink and bacon roll to meander through as much or little of the county in search of the answer to questions posed by our chairman.
